Limra Jewelry is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to all users, including individuals with disabilities. We strive to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) at Level AA, as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

Accessibility Features

Semantic HTML Structure

Our pages use proper heading hierarchy (H1–H3), semantic landmark elements (<header>, <nav>, <main>, <footer>), and descriptive link text to support screen reader navigation.

Colour Contrast

We maintain a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text, using our gold (#C9A84C) and white (#FFFFFF) palette against dark backgrounds to ensure readability.

Keyboard Navigation

All interactive elements — navigation links, buttons, form fields, and carousel controls — are accessible via keyboard (Tab, Enter, Space, arrow keys) without requiring a mouse.

Alternative Text for Images

All meaningful images include descriptive alt text. Decorative images are marked appropriately so screen readers can skip them.

Form Accessibility

All form fields have associated labels, required fields are clearly identified, and error messages are descriptive to assist users with cognitive or visual impairments.

Animation Controls

Our image carousels auto-play but pause on mouse hover, and include manual prev/next controls. Users who prefer reduced motion are encouraged to use their OS-level "Reduce Motion" setting.

Responsive Design

Our website is fully responsive across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices, with text that scales appropriately when users increase their browser font size.

Multilingual Support

Our website is available in English, French, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, and Turkish. The HTML lang attribute is updated dynamically to assist screen readers in selecting the correct language profile.

Known Limitations

While we aim for full WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance, some third-party content (such as the embedded Google Maps iframe) may not fully meet all accessibility criteria. We are not responsible for the accessibility of third-party services.
